Investment Objectives

The investment objectives of the Mountainview Alternative Income Fund are:

To generate annual returns in the range of 8-10%.
To deliver attractive monthly income.
To generate capital growth in addition to the income distributed.
To increase distributions over time.
To preserve capital in all market conditions.
To have low correlation with the traditional investment products.
To minimize the frequency and extent of losses under hostile market conditions.
To produce returns with a low risk and low volatility profile.

Investment Strategy

The Fund is an open-ended trust established under the laws of Ontario. The trustee, manager and investment adviser of the Fund is Mountainview Asset Management Inc. The Fund is a multi-strategy alternative income fund whose underlying assets are investments in various income producing strategies. By obtaining diversification amongst the various strategies, the funds goal is to reduce the risk profile and produce more consistent returns. The fund will also provide access to a number of strategies that many individuals do not have access to or the knowledge to participate in on their own. Given the risk reward profile and low volatility associated with multi-strategy asset funds, this type of strategy is the ideal underlying asset for an income product.
